The CTS Turbo K04-X Hybrid Turbocharger is engineered as a direct bolt-on upgrade for FSI and TSI Gen1 engines, specifically the EA113 and EA888.1 platforms. This turbocharger represents a significant 'bang for the buck' modification for VW and Audi enthusiasts seeking increased performance from their 2.0T FSI and TSI engines. Constructed with a CTS-spec K04 CHRA, this turbo boasts a billet compressor wheel for improved airflow and efficiency. It is also equipped with heavy-duty thrust bearings, ensuring greater reliability and longevity under demanding operating conditions. The turbo is VSR high-speed balanced to OEM+ manufacturing tolerances for optimal performance and smooth operation. This upgrade is compatible with any K04-specific tune and is known to support up to 350HP/360TQ with proper tuning and supporting modifications. It is a direct-fit factory replacement for factory K04 turbos and is designed for transverse applications.
