The HPA Performance K04 Hybrid Turbo is engineered to unleash the true potential of your 2.0L TSI/TFSI engine, offering a significant performance upgrade developed on the track and adapted for street use. Designed for Gen 1 and 2 EA 888 and EA 113 engines, this turbo aims to provide an affordable alternative to lower-quality aftermarket options and modified OEM assemblies. This advanced unit boasts a newly cast compressor housing that allows for the factory K03 diverter valve to be installed in its original location without needing a CNC port adapter. The redesigned compressor wheel, featuring a custom blade profile and billet construction, contributes to quicker spool and higher overall output across the entire RPM range. A turbo muffler delete is included to ensure smoother exhaust gas flow. Built to meet or exceed OEM quality specifications, each CHRA is meticulously balanced using Schenk and VSR balancing machines, a process approved by leading turbo manufacturers like Borg Warner, Garrett Honeywell, and IHI. This ensures a perfect assembly and contributes to the turbo's longevity. The kit is designed for a simplified installation, often serving as a direct replacement for the stock K03 turbo and includes all necessary hardware, such as the diverter valve and N75 boost control solenoid, ensuring compatibility with aftermarket tuning solutions. The HPA K04 Hybrid Turbo is capable of producing up to 355HP and 347TQ, though this performance is contingent on fuel quality, supporting modifications, and the final tune.
