K04 Hybrid Turbocharger Upgrade

The HPA Motorsports K04 Hybrid Upgrade is a performance turbocharger engineered for the Gen 1 and Gen 2 EA888 and EA113 2.0 TSI/TFSI engines. This upgrade aims to unleash the true potential of your engine, with the capability to achieve up to 355HP and 347TQ, dependent on fuel quality, supporting modifications, and tuning. Designed with a focus on performance and ease of installation, this K04 Hybrid Turbo features a compact design that promotes faster boost response and extends turbo longevity. It incorporates a turbo muffler delete for smoother exhaust gas flow and retains the factory diverter valve in its OEM position, eliminating the need for custom fabrications or aftermarket diverter valves. The compressor wheel has been re-designed with custom blade profiles and billet construction for quicker spool and higher output across the entire RPM range. Furthermore, the CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) is built to meet or exceed OEM quality specifications, with components individually balanced on a Schenk Balancer and the complete assembly balanced on a VSR Balancer, ensuring a perfect assembly comparable to leading turbo manufacturers. This kit is designed as a direct replacement for your stock K03 turbo in most applications. It includes all necessary hardware for the upgrade, such as the turbo muffler delete, OEM diverter valve, and OEM N75 boost control solenoid, ensuring compatibility with aftermarket tuning. The product also features a block-off plate for the PCV system on TSI engines and a simplified design for ease of installation. Fitment includes various Audi models such as the A4 B7 (2005-2008), A4 B8 (2009-2016), A5 B8 (2008-2016), and Q5 B8 (2009-2017), all equipped with the 2.0T engine. It is important to note that if installing on a B7 Audi A4, slight modification may be required to the downpipe.
