The Integrated Engineering K04 Turbo Kit is a performance intake manifold component engineered for a straightforward installation. It includes a modified genuine Borg Warner K04 turbocharger and all necessary hardware for a bolt-in application. This kit is designed to significantly increase power output, targeting a range of 330-390hp on pump fuel with supporting modifications and a tune, which are sold separately. For optimal performance, a downpipe, intake, intercooler, and software are typically recommended. Additionally, vehicles equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission will require an upgraded performance clutch. Engineers at Integrated Engineering focused on creating a clean and simple installation process, avoiding excessive parts and complexity. They machine the compressor covers of the Borg Warner K04 turbocharger and integrate an adapter plate to ensure the diverter valve fits precisely in its original location for TSI engines. This design eliminates the need for separate diverter relocation kits, further simplifying installation and ensuring no wiring modifications are necessary. This turbo kit is compatible with a range of Volkswagen models equipped with EA888 Gen 1 & Gen 2, timing chain-driven 2.0T TSI engines. This includes the GTI (MK5: 2006-2009, MK6: 2010-2014), Jetta & Jetta GLI (MK6: 2010-2014), CC (3C8: 2009-2015), Passat (B6: 2006-2010), and Tiguan (2009+).
