K04 Turbocharger

The CTS Turbo K04 Turbocharger Upgrade is engineered as a direct-fit factory replacement for 2.0T FSI/TSI Transverse Engines, specifically the EA113 and EA888.1 variants. Our engineers meticulously designed the compressor cover and exhaust housing to optimally integrate with the larger K04 CHRA, ensuring proper flow and performance, unlike other manufacturers who simply adapt a larger CHRA into undersized housings. This approach prevents premature failure and performance degradation associated with improperly matched components. This upgrade utilizes a CTS-spec K04 CHRA equipped with heavy-duty thrust bearings and a 46.38/56.1mm MFS (machined from solid) standard K04 compressor wheel. The unit features K04-specific compressor and turbine housings, distinguishing it from hybrid designs. It is manufactured to OEM+ tolerances and VSR high-speed balanced for reliability. An OEM installation kit is included, and the turbo is compatible with its factory turbo outlet pipe (for both FSI and TSI), though not with aftermarket K03 outlet pipes. To operate, this turbocharger requires K04-specific software tuning and a performance downpipe. For EA113 2.0T FSI engines, compatibility includes Audi A3 (2006-2008 BPY), Audi TT (2008-2010 BPY), VW Golf GTI (2006-2008 BPY), VW Jetta GLI (2006-2008 BPY), VW Passat (2006-2008 BPY), and VW EOS (2006-2008 BPY). For EA888.1 2.0T TSI engines, it fits Audi A3 (2008-2013 CCTA/CBFA), Audi TT (2011 CCTA/CBFA), Audi Q3 (2015-2017 CCTA/CBFA), VW CC (2009-2017 CCTA/CBFA), VW Golf GTI (2008-2014 CCTA/CBFA), VW Jetta GLI (2008-2012 CCTA/CBFA), VW Passat (2008-2010 CCTA/CBFA), VW EOS (2008-2016 CCTA/CBFA), and VW Tiguan (2008-2017 CCTA/CBFA). Note: An adapter is required for EA888.2 2.0T TSI engines in the Audi TT (2012-2015 CCTA/CBFA), and ROW vehicles should confirm fitment with a dealer.
