K04 Turbocharger for FSI/TSI Gen1 EA113/EA888.1

The CTS Turbo K04 Turbocharger Upgrade is engineered as a direct-fit replacement for factory turbochargers on 2.0T FSI (EA113) and TSI Gen1 (EA888.1) transverse engines. This unit utilizes a CTS-spec K04 CHRA, incorporating heavy-duty thrust bearings and a 46.38/56.1mm compressor wheel that is machined from solid billet for enhanced durability and performance. The turbocharger features K04-specific compressor and turbine housings, ensuring optimal flow and preventing the performance compromises found in hybrid units. Each turbo is VSR high-speed balanced to OEM+ manufacturing tolerances. The turbo is compatible with any K04-specific tune and the factory turbo outlet pipe for both FSI and TSI applications. However, it is not compatible with aftermarket K03 outlet pipes. This upgrade is suitable for a range of Audi and Volkswagen models equipped with the 2.0T FSI (timing belt engine, BPY) or 2.0T TSI (timing chain engine, CCTA/CBFA). Specific fitments include various Audi A3, TT, Q3, and VW Golf GTI, Jetta GLI, Passat, EOS, CC, and Tiguan models across relevant years. An adapter is required for the EA888.2 2.0T TSI engine in the Audi TT (2012-2015). To achieve optimal performance, a K04-specific software tuning and a CTS Turbo or other performance downpipe are required. Recommended supporting modifications include a CTS Turbo Cold Air Intake, Direct-Fit Intercooler Kit, and High Flow Turbo Outlet Pipe (for EA888 engines). For EA113 engines, S3 Fuel Injectors and an HPFP upgrade are also recommended. With proper tuning and supporting modifications, this turbocharger is capable of supporting up to 350HP and 360TQ.
