K04-X Hybrid Turbocharger

The CTS Turbo K04-X Hybrid Turbocharger is engineered as a direct-fit factory replacement for VW and Audi 2.0T FSI and TSI transverse engines. This upgrade features a CTS-spec hybrid K04 CHRA with heavy-duty thrust bearings, a larger 48.5/61mm billet compressor wheel (MFS – machined from solid), and a clipped K04 turbine wheel. The compressor and turbine housings are K04-X specific, not reworked factory units, and are machined to OEM+ tolerances. The turbo is VSR high-speed balanced for optimal performance and durability. This hybrid turbo is designed to support up to 400HP when paired with appropriate supporting modifications, including hybrid K04-specific software tuning, a performance downpipe, intake, and intercooler. It is explicitly not compatible with standard K04 tunes. Fitment is extensive, covering various Audi A3 (2005-2013), Audi TT (2008-2015), VW Beetle (2012-2019), VW CC (2009-2017), VW EOS (2007-2015), VW Golf/GTI Mk5 (2006-2009), VW Golf/GTI Mk6 (2010-2014), VW Jetta (2006-2010), VW Passat B6 (2006-2010), VW Tiguan (2009-2017), and other models with 2.0T FSI or TSI engines. An important note for the Audi TT 2012-2015 CCTA/CBFA is the requirement for a PCV adapter. Additionally, for EA113 engines, S3 or RS4 Fuel Injectors and an HPFP upgrade are recommended. A 6-month limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship is included.
