K1 Street Coilover

The K-Tuned K1 Street coilovers are engineered to deliver an exceptional balance between daily drivability and a sporty performance feel, ensuring both comfort and reliability. These coilovers offer adjustable ride height and 12-way dampening, allowing you to fine-tune the suspension to match your driving style and road conditions. The internal components are robust, featuring a heat-treated steel piston and needle valve for precise travel and consistent compression. The strut bodies are built to withstand demanding conditions and prolonged use, utilizing a proprietary oil that resists viscosity breakdown under heat and stress. This ensures consistent ride quality and longevity, preventing the common issue of fluid degradation found in lesser systems. High-heat rated double seals on the piston further enhance durability and prevent leaks. They are rigorously tested to prevent coil bind and ensure full range of motion. The springs are mounted on adjustable aluminum perches for preload and travel adjustments, with integrated washers and spacers to maintain smooth operation, especially on McPherson style struts. The exterior finish combines powder coating, electroplating, and anodizing for both aesthetic appeal and protection. McPherson style struts include adjustable upper camber plates and pillow ball mounts. Applications for this specific model include the 03-07 Honda Accord CM and the 04-08 Acura TSX CL. The spring rates are set at 14kg/mm (784lb/in) for the front and 8kg/mm (448lb/in) for the rear. These coilovers do not offer camber adjustment but do provide independent height adjustment.
