The K-Tuned K1 Street Coilovers aim to provide an optimal balance between daily drivability and sporty performance. Each setup offers adjustable ride height and 32 distinct dampening settings, allowing drivers to fine-tune their suspension to match their preferences and driving conditions. The engineering focuses on reliability and comfort, avoiding the harshness often associated with stiffer spring rates by prioritizing strut quality. The coilovers utilize durable, heat-treated steel pistons and needle valves for precise control over travel and compression ratios. High-heat rated double seals on the piston rod are included to prevent leaks even under demanding conditions. Complementing the struts are high-tensile strength steel springs, tested for durability and full range of motion without sagging or premature wear. These springs are mounted on adjustable aluminum perches, facilitating adjustments to preload and travel. McPherson style struts are equipped with adjustable upper camber plates and pillow ball mounts for enhanced alignment capabilities. The exterior components are finished with powder coating, electroplating, and anodizing for both aesthetics and corrosion resistance. These K1 Street Coilovers are specifically designed for the 08-12 Honda Accord, 09-14 Acura TSX, and 09-14 Acura TL. The spring rates are set at F-14K / R-8K to work in conjunction with the adjustable dampening.
