The K-Tuned K1 Street Coilovers are engineered to provide an enjoyable sporty ride without sacrificing comfort or reliability for daily use. Each setup includes adjustable ride height and new 12-way dampening settings to fine-tune the suspension to your liking. The struts are built with durability in mind, featuring a heat-treated steel piston and needle valve for precise travel and linear compression. High-heat rated double seals prevent leaks, even under demanding conditions. The system is completed with high-tensile strength steel springs that resist sagging and wear, tested for full range of motion and to prevent coil bind. These springs are paired with adjustable aluminum perches for preload and travel adjustment, with incorporated washers and spacers for smooth operation on McPherson struts. The K-Tuned K1 Street Coilovers are finished with a combination of powder coating, electroplating, and anodizing for both aesthetics and protection. McPherson style struts include adjustable upper camber plates and pillow ball mounts. The applications covered by this specific coilover kit include the 02-06 RSX DC5, 01-05 Civic ES1, 01-05 Civic EM2, and 01-05 Civic EP3. The spring rates are F-8K / R-9K, with a note indicating a 25% stiffer damper.
