These main studs are manufactured from 8740 chrome moly steel and heat-treated to a tensile strength exceeding 190,000 psi. They feature precision J-form threads that are rolled after heat-treatment to enhance durability and strength.

The ARP K20/K24 Main Stud Kit is engineered for enhanced performance and reliability in Acura K20 and K24 engines. Constructed from high-grade 8740 chrome moly steel, these main studs are heat-treated in-house to achieve a remarkable tensile strength of over 190,000 psi. A key feature of these studs is their precision J-form threads, which are rolled after the heat-treating process. The kit includes hardened parallel-ground washers and aerospace-quality nuts, ensuring a secure and robust fitment. This comprehensive kit contains (10) Main Studs, (10) Nuts, and (10) Washers, along with ARP Fastener Lube to aid in installation. Some applications may also include provisions for mounting windage trays, with specially designed standoff studs and serrated lock nuts to securely position and hold the tray in place. The studs utilize 1/2" 12-point and 3/16" Allen socket sizes for installation.
