K20C1 High-Flow T304 Stainless Steel Downpipe

The Performance downpipe is engineered as the largest diameter, highest-flowing drop-in downpipe on the market for the 2017+ Honda Civic Type R (FK8/FL5). Its CAD-optimized design and wide inlet create an optimal flow scenario, allowing hot exhaust gasses to escape the turbine quickly. This results in increased turbocharger efficiency and improved response. Constructed from durable T304 stainless steel, each cast section of the downpipe is precisely TIG welded to the catalytic converter body, ensuring a leak-free connection. The design cleverly retains all OEM pick-up points, allowing for the re-use of stock heat shields to manage under-hood temperatures. All necessary nuts, bolts, and studs are included for a seamless installation. The downpipe features a high-flow 200-cell density metallic foil catalytic converter, which is optimized for performance and flow characteristics on the 2.0T K20C1 engine. This provides better flow compared to 400-cell converters, leading to more power. It is designed to mate perfectly with the stock turbo, aftermarket drop-in turbos, and the 27WON "Kuro" upgraded turbo. Dyno testing has shown gains of over 10 WHP and 28 LB/FT of torque compared to the stock downpipe, with a best-run showing over 33 LB/FT of torque. For optimal performance, tuning is highly recommended, and the product is for off-road use only, with the potential for CEL illumination. Compatibility: This downpipe fits the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R FK8, 2023+ Honda Civic Type R FL5, 2023+ Acura Integra Type S DE5, and the 2018-2022 Honda Accord CV2 Sport/Touring 2.0T. Note that for Accord models, an M18x1.5 hex plug is required and sold separately.
