This OEM Honda part, with the number 15100-PRB-A01, is specifically engineered for higher-revving engines and offers better oil pressure at high RPMs compared to stock K24 pumps. It eliminates the parasitic horsepower loss associated with balance shafts, potentially saving 10-15 hp. This oil pump is pre-cut and prepared by Hybrid Racing for K24 block clearance, meaning no custom grinding is required for installation. It is intended for use in K24 engine builds and K24 swaps into various chassis. The pump itself is a direct bolt-in when used with the correct K20A2 installation parts. Installation requires specific K20A2 parts including the windage tray, oil pump chain, chain guide, tensioner, and hardware. These parts are not included with the oil pump and must be sourced separately or as part of a complete installation kit. It is critical not to use K24 windage tray, chain, or hardware, as these parts are not interchangeable. For the 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si, a PRL PRB Conversion Kit is also required. This oil pump is compatible with the following vehicles: 2002-2006 Acura RSX, 2004-2008 Acura TSX, 2002-2011 Honda Civic Si, 2003-2007 Honda Accord, 2002-2006 Honda CRV, and 2003-2011 Honda Element.
