The KMiata KM-FW-K-MIATA is a flywheel designed for adapting a K24 engine to NA or NB Miata transmissions. Constructed from 6061 aluminum, this V2 flywheel is lighter than OEM TSX and Miata flywheels. It is compatible with 5-speed and 6-speed transmissions, OEM K series starters, and 1.8L Miata clutch kits.

The KMiata KM-FW-K-MIATA is a V2 flywheel crafted from 6061 aluminum, engineered to facilitate the integration of a K24 engine with any 1990-2005 Mazda Miata (NA/NB) transmission, including both 5-speed and 6-speed variants. This flywheel offers a weight advantage, tipping the scales at approximately 13.5 lbs, which is lighter than the OEM TSX flywheel (over 18 lbs) and the OEM 1.8L Miata flywheel (over 20 lbs). It is designed to work seamlessly with any OEM K series starter and any 1.8L Miata clutch kit. The package includes a pre-installed pilot bearing and all necessary pressure plate bolts. Version 2 of this flywheel features refined shallow counterbores for flywheel bolts and a thicker center hub, enhancing ease of installation and overall strength. It requires the use of longer flywheel bolts, specifically Honda/Acura part #90011-RDB-000, with no exceptions. The manufacturer also recommends pairing this flywheel with an ACT HD Organic Street Clutch or a comparable clutch capable of handling K series torque.
