The KPower K24A2 Ultimate Swap Package streamlines the process of swapping a K24A2 or JDM K24A RBB engine into your 1990-2005 Mazda Miata (NA/NB). This comprehensive kit eliminates the need to source individual components, offering a bolt-on solution for enthusiasts seeking enhanced performance and reliability. The package includes a K-series to Miata transmission adapter plate, a lightweight flywheel, machined engine mounts with selectable poly or rubber pads, a tubular subframe, a baffled aluminum oil pan with a pickup tube, a K20 oil pump adapter housing, a KPower RWD intake manifold, a K24A2-specific upper coolant neck, a slim flywheel dust cover, a 1320mm serpentine belt, and a stainless 4-2-1 race header. Customers can choose between a 74mm cable throttle body with an Acuity TPS or a Bosch 74mm Drive-by-Wire throttle body. The swap prioritizes OEM Miata steering geometry retention and reduces front-end weight, making it suitable for both street cars and track applications. Most customers report achieving over 220+ wheel horsepower and 180 wheel torque naturally aspirated with a stock K24A2 engine, with significant potential for further gains through bolt-ons and tuning. Important fitment and installation considerations apply. The K24 engine sits approximately half an inch taller than the K20, requiring hood modification or the addition of a KPower modified valve cover for proper clearance on NA chassis. While compatible with right-hand-drive (RHD) Miatas, the included header is not compatible; RHD users should contact KPower for custom solutions. Furthermore, the engine mounts are designed to bolt to specific K-series engines: JDM K24A RBB, K24A2, K24A3, K24A4, K20Z3, K20Z4, and K24A8. They do NOT fit K20A2, K20Z1, or K24A1 blocks due to incompatible bolt-hole locations on the left side of the block.
