K24A2 Ultimate Swap Package

The KPower K24A2 Ultimate Swap Package is engineered to facilitate the installation of a 2004-2008 Acura TSX engine (K24A2 or JDM K24A RBB) into the NA and NB generations of the Mazda Miata. This comprehensive kit aims to eliminate the complexities of sourcing individual components for such a swap. This package includes essential components such as a K-series to Miata transmission adapter plate, a lightweight flywheel, machined engine mounts with choice of poly or rubber pads, a tubular subframe that replaces the factory unit, a baffled aluminum oil pan with a pickup tube, a K20 oil pump adapter housing, and a KPower RWD intake manifold. It also features a K24A2-specific upper coolant neck, a slim flywheel dust cover, a 1320mm serpentine belt, and a stainless 4-2-1 race header. Buyers can choose between a 74mm cable throttle body or a Bosch 74mm Drive-by-Wire throttle body. Naturally aspirated, most customers report achieving 220+ wheel horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque with a stock K24A2 engine. It helps retain OEM Miata steering geometry and reduces front-end weight, making it suitable for demanding road course applications. Installation notes include that the K24 engine sits approximately ½ inch taller than the K20, requiring modification to the factory NA Miata hood or the addition of a modified valve cover for clearance. Right-hand-drive (RHD) Miatas are compatible, but the included header is not. For RHD setups requiring a custom header solution, KPower advises contacting them directly. Important compatibility information: The engine mounts are designed to bolt to JDM K24A RBB, K24A2, K24A3, K24A4, K20Z3, K20Z4, and K24A8 engines.
