K4L60-E Shift Correction Package

The Superior K4L60-E Shift Correction Package is engineered to resolve common transmission issues in 4L60E, 4L65E, and 4L70E transmissions, specifically for 1998 and newer models. This comprehensive recalibration kit targets problems like bind-up in reverse, low and reverse clutch burn-up, delayed engagement, and 3-4 clutch failure. It also addresses the notorious P1870 slip code and Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) slippage by converting the lock-up to an on/off system. This kit offers both regular and heavy-duty applications, allowing for selectable firmness based on your needs, whether for daily driving or towing. Key benefits include the elimination of the P1870 code with the included PWM Powervalve, correction of "slide-bump" shifts between 2nd and 3rd gears, and restoration of seal integrity on worn plates with oversized checkballs.
