Overview

The Xcessive Manufacturing KA24E Single Cam Bolt-on Plenum Kit is an intake manifold designed to increase plenum volume over stock for improved performance in naturally aspirated or boosted applications. It features a permanent mold cast construction with a phenolic shell core for the internal walls.

The kit includes a bolt-on flange, the Xcessive plenum with 4 vacuum ports and 4 vacuum fittings (2x 1/8", 2x 3/8"), 5 flanged plenum bolts, and 5 flat head flange bolts. The plenum is pre-machined for up to a 70 mm throttle body bore, with options for up to 80 mm and custom bolt patterns available by special order.

The Xcessive Manufacturing KA24E Single Cam Bolt-on Plenum Kit is engineered to significantly increase plenum volume for the KA24E single cam engine, offering a substantial performance boost whether your vehicle is naturally aspirated or boosted. This kit includes the bolt-on flange, the Xcessive plenum with four vacuum ports, five flanged plenum bolts, five flat head flange bolts, and four vacuum fittings (two 1/8" and two 3/8"). While drilled for the factory throttle body and bolt pattern, it comes pre-machined to accommodate up to a 70 mm bore. Larger bores up to 80 mm and custom bolt patterns are available as special orders. Note that the factory throttle body, throttle cable bracket, and runners are not included with this kit. Potential installation considerations include checking hood clearance, modifying vacuum/PCV lines, and possible adjustments to Cold Air Intakes (CAIs). The AAC (Automatic Idle Control) is not utilized and will require throttle blade adjustment or ECU tuning to compensate; an optional remote mount plate for the AAC is available separately. It is recommended to consider a thermal gasket for installation.
