Show original supplier description
The Stillen DBA42127S is a direct replacement brake rotor from Disc Brakes Australia (DBA), engineered for drivers seeking enhanced braking performance beyond standard OE levels. Crafted from high-carbon alloyed iron, these rotors are treated with Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) to withstand increased stress and heat during intense braking applications. This rotor incorporates DBA's patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation system, which utilizes 144 diamond and teardrop-shaped pillars. This unique design provides up to a 30% increase in surface area and a 20% improvement in cooling efficiency over traditional straight vane rotors, ensuring consistent performance and longevity under demanding conditions. Designed as a direct-fit component, the DBA42127S has a slotted surface type for optimal performance. Technical specifications include an outside diameter of 380 mm, a nominal thickness of 32 mm, and a center hole diameter of 71 mm. It is a vented rotor with 5 lug holes. This specific rotor is compatible with the 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.
