The Infinity KAPPA-62IX is a 6-1/2" (160mm) two-way car audio multi-element speaker engineered to set a new standard in sound quality. It features Infinity's patented Plus One™ Glass Fiber woofers, which are lighter and stiffer for increased low-frequency output and higher efficiency. The edge-driven textile dome tweeters, paired with oversized voice coils, provide broader, smoother high-frequency response and improved thermal power handling for loud listening sessions. Designed for optimal performance, the KAPPA-62IX boasts a Super Low Impedance (SLI) High Output design, utilizing a 2.7-ohm architecture that allows it to extract maximum power from your amplifier or head unit, even compensating for thinner factory wiring. With an ultra-high sensitivity of 95dB, these speakers achieve excellent volume with superb musicality, making them an ideal upgrade from original factory-installed speakers. They are individually tuned with outboard passive crossovers using audiophile-grade inductors and capacitors for superior audio detail and accuracy. Installation is facilitated by features like the UniPivot tweeter, which can be rotated after installation for better imaging, and an optional tweeter level control to fine-tune high frequencies. The speaker system includes two speakers, grilles, plastic multi-hole adapter rings, foam gaskets, screws, speed clips, Infinity logo badges, brand stickers, and an owner's manual.
