KAPPA 86CFX 6" x 8" 2-Way Car Audio Speaker

The Infinity KAPPA 86CFX is a 6" x 8" two-way car audio multi-element speaker engineered to set a new standard in automotive sound. Complementing the woofers are edge-driven textile dome tweeters with oversized voice coils. These tweeters deliver silky smooth highs and offer increased thermal power handling, making them ideal for high-volume listening. The UniPivot tweeter design allows for 270° rotation after installation on most models, providing flexibility for improving soundstage imaging. Additionally, a push-button tweeter level control allows for custom tuning of high frequencies. Engineered for high output, the KAPPA 86CFX features a 2.5-ohm impedance design with low-impedance voice coils. This architecture enables the speaker to maximize the power output from your amplifier or head unit and compensates for any added resistance found in factory-installed wiring. Harman Standard Reliability Testing is applied to Infinity speakers, subjecting them to extreme conditions to ensure durability. These speakers are voiced using audiophile-grade components for detail and accuracy unmatched in their class. An optional midrange speaker with a bandpass crossover is available to upgrade these two-way systems into three-way systems for enhanced performance when desired or when factory locations accommodate it.
