The Keith Black Hypereutectic Piston Kit KB202-040 is designed for Big Block Chevy 454 engines, featuring a 4.290-inch bore, 4.000-inch stroke, and 6.135-inch rod length. These flat-top pistons have a 3cc volume and one valve relief, with a compression height of 1.645 inches. They are made from a low expansion 390 alloy with 16 percent silicon, allowing for tighter piston-to-wall clearances. Features include fully machined heads and valve reliefs, triple spiral lock rings, CNC machined pin bores, an accumulator groove, machined oil returns, diamond-finished skirts, and mini grooves to reduce scuffing and overheating. Wrist pins and spiral locks are included, but piston rings are sold separately.
