Overview

The KB Performance Hyper Piston and Ring Kits are designed for a variety of applications, from street and towing to marine and racing. These pistons are cast from a 390 hypereutectic alloy and heat-treated to T-6 standards for increased strength. They feature fully machined crowns and valve pockets, offering a lightweight design to improve throttle response and RPM changes while handling high compression and temperatures. This kit includes piston rings with moly-coated ductile iron top rings.

Specifically, these pistons are a flat-top design with a single valve relief and a +3.00cc piston head volume. They are constructed from hypereutectic aluminum and include wrist pins and retainers, compatible with press-fit or floating wrist pin styles. The bore size for this kit is 4.280 inches. The piston ring set includes 1/16 in. x 1/16 in. x 3/16 in. rings with a ductile iron, plasma-moly coated top ring, an iron second ring, and a stainless steel oil ring.
