The KB Hyper Performance Piston Kit, part number KB197KTM.030, from United Engine & Machine Co. (Keith Black) is designed for high-performance applications including marine, drag racing, circle track, street, or towing builds. These hypereutectic pistons are cast from a low-expansion 390 alloy with 16% silicon, allowing for tighter piston-to-wall clearances. The pistons feature fully machined heads and valve reliefs, triple spiral lock rings, and CNC machined pin bores for accuracy. An accumulator groove helps with compression ring seal, and machined oil returns are integrated. Diamond-finished skirts and mini grooves are included to reduce scuffing and overheating.
