The House of Kolor KIT-KD3000-GL is a versatile two-component hybrid epoxy primer system engineered for direct-to-substrate (DTS) application. This advanced foundation system offers multiple functionalities, serving as a high-build surfacer, a medium-build surfacer/high-build sealer, or a silky smooth sealer, significantly reducing the need for extensive surface preparation and abrasive consumption. The KD3000 Series primer is designed for tenacious adhesion and excellent durability, providing superior corrosion and water resistance. Its formulation ensures productive dry times and ease of sanding, making it an ideal base for a long-lasting custom paint job. This kit includes 1 gallon of KD3000 DTS Surface Sealer in Gray and 1 quart of KDA3000 DTS Hardener. This surfacer sealer exhibits low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and Hazardous Air Polluting Solvents (HAPS), and it contains no isocyanates. It is compatible with a wide range of surfaces, including existing OEM finishes, bare steel, aluminum, fiberglass, galvanized surfaces, various plastics (though adhesion testing is recommended), and body fillers.
