KDSS Bypass Kit

The Dr. KDSS KDSS Control Harness Kit provides manual control over your vehicle's Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS), enabling electronic opening and closing of the hydraulic valves. This allows for adjustment of suspension geometry, which can correct or mitigate the "KDSS lean" often experienced after installing an aftermarket suspension lift. The system offers a "comfort" and "sport" handling mode choice, selectable via a dash switch or integrated with existing controllers like Switch-Pro. Constructed using genuine OEM Toyota connectors, pins, and color-matched wiring, the harness ensures a reliable and factory-like fit. The connection is made directly to the KDSS ECU, eliminating the need for cutting or splicing factory wires. A 3D-printed resin housing is included for the connector, as Toyota does not offer a direct mating part. Each harness is Quality Control tested before shipment. The kit includes the KDSS Control Harness with OEM connectors and a 3D-printed housing. It does not include a switch or fuse box cover, though a full plug-and-play setup is available with the KDSS Harness Combo. While it helps correct KDSS lean and smooths suspension behavior, this kit does not remove existing KDSS malfunction codes if the system is already faulted. For 2020+ vehicles, a KDSS malfunction error may appear on the screen, which can be acknowledged by pressing 'OK'. This kit is specifically designed for 2010+ 4Runner, GX460, and Prado 150 models equipped with KDSS. Prado owners must verify their connector pin layout before ordering; if the slot next to the clip is empty, order the 2010-2019 version (Picture A). If a wire is present in that slot, order the 2020+ version (Picture B). Right-hand drive Prados may have different configurations and require contacting Dr. KDSS with a photo before ordering.
