The Kenwood KFC-1696PS speakers are a pair of 6.5-inch, 2-way full-range speakers designed to upgrade your car's audio system. These speakers boast a 320-watt maximum power handling capacity and 100 watts RMS, ensuring robust sound output. The woofer cones are constructed from polypropylene with a rubber surround, contributing to a durable and resonant low-frequency response. High frequencies are handled by a 1.18-inch balanced dome tweeter, designed to provide clear and detailed sound. Kenwood incorporates its Acoustic Sound Harmonizer technology to improve response in the 3 kHz to 4 kHz range and a Sound Field Enhancer to widen the overall soundstage, creating a more immersive listening experience. The mounting depth is a shallow 1-7/8 inches, with a cutout diameter of 4-7/8 inches, facilitating installation in a variety of locations. Included with the speakers are grilles, 20-inch lengths of speaker wire with quick-slides on one end, self-tapping screws, and grille putty, simplifying the installation process. The impedance is rated at 4 ohms, and the frequency response ranges from 75 Hz to 24 kHz, offering a broad spectrum of sound reproduction.
