The RetroSound kick panels are designed for the 1964-66 Ford Mustang Coupe and Fastback. They allow for the addition of speakers without modifying the interior. The RetroSound Kick Panels offer an effective way to enhance the audio experience in your 1964-1966 Ford Mustang Coupe or Fastback. These panels replace the factory kick panels, allowing for the integration of aftermarket speakers without the need for cutting or significant interior modification. They are expertly molded to ensure a perfect fit and feature an angled speaker mount that directs sound towards the listener for improved clarity and imaging. These kick panels are designed to accommodate most 6.5-inch speaker systems. You can choose to add either Standard Speakers (S-62) with a ceramic magnet and UV-treated foam surrounds, or Premium Speakers (R-652N) featuring a neodymium magnet and slim-mount design for high power handling. Additionally, optional RetroMat Sound Dampening Material is available to reduce road and wind noise, as well as thermal insulation. Installation is straightforward and requires basic tools. It is important to note that speaker installation is required, and minor trimming or modification of the kick panel may be necessary depending on the specific speaker's size and depth. These kick panels will not fit Mustang convertibles.
