Killer Bee Cold Air Induction System

The Halltech Killer Bee MF103 is a CAD-designed, plug-and-play cold air induction system engineered for C6 Corvette LS3 and LS7 applications. Its MAF Forward (MF) design is developed to support increased airflow and stable drivability, with proper MAF behavior intended to eliminate the need for immediate ECU recalibration upon installation. This system provides a balance of airflow efficiency and OEM-like operation for performance-focused C6 platforms. The MF103 features an approximately 103 to 104mm MAF cross section, designed to maintain airflow characteristics similar to the factory setup while enhancing overall intake efficiency. The included Beehive heat shield works to isolate the air filter and MAF sensor from high engine bay temperatures, promoting more consistent inlet air conditions during both street and track driving. This design aims to deliver repeatable performance without added calibration complexity. Halltech specifies the Killer Bee MF103 as a plug-and-play system for C6 Corvette LS3 and LS7 models, designed to work with the stock MAF sensor and eliminate the need for additional tuning for installation. While not requiring tuning, the system is noted to potentially yield an increase of 31 to 35 RWHP when a tune is applied. No cutting is required for installation. This intake system is specifically designed for the 2006-2013 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 LS7 7.0L, 2008-2013 Chevrolet Corvette LS3 6.2L, and 2010-2013 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport LS3 6.2L. It is important to note that this system does not have a California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order, meaning it is not legal for sale or use in California on pollution-controlled vehicles unless utilized solely for off-road competition applications.
