King Shocks OEM Performance Series Reservoir Shocks improve on/off-road performance. They feature lightweight hard anodized 6063 aluminum alloy reservoirs for heat dissipation, high-quality fittings with Aeroquip high-pressure hoses, and a 2.5-inch precision-bored shock cylinder. The heat-treated 6061 aluminum alloy piston has developed port configurations for unique damping. Rulon composite wear bands ensure durability. Large 3/4" or 7/8" diameter shafts (100,000 psi tensile strength) are hard-chromed and micro-polished for extended seal life. High-strength rod ends with steel Teflon-lined spherical bearings ensure smooth articulation. Aluminum components and vehicle-specific mounts are machined from aircraft-quality billet. Kits include mounting brackets, hardware, and installation instructions. Fully serviceable and rebuildable.
