Kinugawa TD05-16G Turbocharger CHRA

The Kinugawa Turbo Systems TD05-16G is a super core upgrade designed to enhance the performance of your existing TD05-12A or TC05-12A turbocharger. This CHRA is engineered to replace the stock 40/54 mm compressor wheel with a larger 16G wheel measuring 48.3/68mm, and features a TD05 STD 12-blade turbine wheel (56.4/47.4mm). This turbocharger core is built with an oil and water-cooled system and a journal bearing setup, complemented by a 360-degree performance thrust bearing kit for improved durability and efficiency. The standard actuator pressure is set at 1.0 bar (14.7 Psi), with options to customize this to 0.3, 0.5, 0.8, 1.2, 1.5, 1.7, or 2.0 bar upon request. Customers can also select between a standard block plate, an adjustable blow-off valve (BOV), or a recirculating valve (BCV) for the compressor cover. It fits TD05-12A / TC05-12A Starion turbos with 6cm or 8cm housings and is compatible with part numbers 49178-01730 and 49178-01740. It is important to note that this unit DOES NOT FIT turbochargers with part numbers 49178-01750 and 49178-01760, which have a larger TD05H turbine wheel. Compatible vehicles include the 1982- Mitsubishi Starion and Conquest with YDC Engine using a 49178-01600 turbo, and 1990-94 Mitsubishi Starion models equipped with the 4G54 / G54B engine and a 49178-01730 turbo.
