The Lewmar V2 Windlass with Fast Fit 700W Vertical Electric 12V Gypsy Only (MPN 6672011197-138) is an all-stainless steel vertical electric windlass designed for power and sailboats up to 13 meters (44 feet). This model is a V2 series windlass and comes as a complete kit for seamless installation, featuring Lewmar's FastFit™ motor gearbox attachment which allows for easier, one-person installation by perfectly aligning the deck unit and motor gearbox. The FastFit™ system also enables the motor/gearbox to be rotated and fixed in 45° increments. It handles rope-chain with a 7mm (ISO 4565 or DIN 766) chain and 12-14mm (1/2 inch) 3-strand and 8-plait rope. Key features include a rope-chain gypsy, manual chain release (Free Fall), a cone clutch for smooth control, a W.A.R.P Drum, fall-safe anchor lock, and a robust worm gearbox.
