Description

The Lewmar VX1 is a vertical electric windlass featuring a robust worm wheel gearbox, stylish stainless steel and composite construction, and an IP67 rated cover. It has the same footprint as the V1 model and is designed for 8mm DIN766 / ISO4565 chain and 12-16mm (1/2 - 5/8 inch) 3-strand hard lay up rope. It offers a maximum pull of 675 kg (882 lb) and a working load of 169 kg (220 lb) with a maximum line speed of 25 m/min (82 ft/min). The kit includes the windlass, a 70Amp breaker, contactor, guarded rocker switch, solenoid, and gypsy.
