Overview

The Kicker KMTC9 is a pair of 9-inch HLCD tower speakers designed for marine use. These speakers feature a horn-loaded compression driver with a titanium dome and a stitched polypropylene cone with a Santoprene surround. They are built with a UV-resistant polymer basket and stainless steel/ABS mounting hardware.

These speakers offer a four-ohm voice coil and a frequency response of 20-20k Hz. They can handle 600 watts of peak power and are recommended for amplifiers providing 150-300 watts RMS. The KMTC9 includes seven-color LED grilles and meets ASTM standards for UV and salt/fog exposure. They are sold as a pair.

The Kicker KMTC9 HLCD Tower Systems are engineered to deliver smooth, powerful sound for marine applications, whether you're close to the speaker or further away, without harsh horn glare. Constructed with a UV-resistant polymer basket and a stitched polypropylene cone with a Santoprene surround, the KMTC9 speakers are built to withstand marine environments. They feature a 1.4-inch titanium-dome horn-loaded compression driver for clear high frequencies and a 9-inch woofer. The system includes toolless mounting hardware with a clamp that fits 1.5 to 3.25-inch tubing, a through-clamp wiring system, and a single-bolt speaker removal design. The grille-mounted LEDs can display seven colors and are upgradable to 20 colors and 19 lighting modes with an optional KMLC controller. These tower systems meet or exceed ASTM standards for UV and salt/fog exposure. They are rated for 600 watts peak power per speaker and are optimized for amplifiers delivering 150-300 watts RMS. The KMTC9 speakers operate at 4 Ohms and have a frequency response spanning 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with a crossover point at 2.5 kHz. Each pair includes two full-range speaker enclosures and mounting hardware.
