The Kicker KMTC9W HLCD Tower System is engineered for exceptional marine audio performance, delivering smooth sound with its horn-loaded compression drivers and titanium-dome tweeters. The included seven-color LED grilles add a vibrant visual element, with an option to upgrade to 20 colors and 19 modes using the KMLC controller. Installation is made straightforward with the toolless locking cam/toggle system, allowing for near full 354-degree rotation. The stainless steel/ABS clamp fits tubing sizes from 1.5 to 3.25 inches, and a through-clamp wiring system with a mating socket simplifies connections. Mounting hardware made from 316L stainless steel is included for durability. These speakers are optimized for marine environments and are sold as pairs. Key specifications include a 4-Ohm impedance, 1.4-inch horn-loaded compression driver, and a frequency response of 20Hz-20kHz. The system handles 600 watts of peak power and is recommended for use with amplifiers providing 150-300 watts RMS per speaker. High and low pass filters are set at 12 dB at 2.5kHz.
