Description
This sensor is critical for preventing engine damage by allowing the engine control unit (ECU) to adjust ignition timing when detonation is detected. Symptoms of a faulty knock sensor include engine knocking or pinging noises, reduced fuel efficiency, poor engine performance, and a check engine light.
Installation requires bolting the new sensor into place and connecting the harness. Mounting hardware is not included. The package contains the ignition knock sensor and an instruction sheet.
