Koni Stage 2 Suspension Package

The Flyin' Miata Koni Stage 2 suspension package represents a significant performance upgrade for the ND and Fiat chassis, offering enhanced body control and reduced lean. The package includes front and rear sway bars to minimize body roll, along with a set of four Koni adjustable shocks and springs. Specifically, soft top models feature front springs rated at 300 lb/in and rear springs at 175 lb/in, both with a 13-inch ride height (front) and 13.5-inch (rear). RF models have slightly stiffer rear springs at 205 lb/in. Flyin' Miata uniquely includes new rear bumpstops, crucial for preventing bottoming out with a lowered ride height. The Koni shocks are adjustable for damping, allowing users to dial in their preferred handling characteristics, from street comfort to track-day aggression. These shocks come with a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser in the US and Canada. The included sway bars offer further tuning capabilities to adjust the overall handling balance. Installation requires attention to the headlight leveling system. Lowering the vehicle may necessitate adjustment of the headlight leveling system. Cars with a ride height sensor can be modified with a Flyin' Miata headlight levelizer or a software recalibration. Models without a ride height sensor (some 2018 and later) will require recalibration to ensure proper headlight aim and visibility. Failure to address this can result in low-aiming headlights and reduced night visibility.
