Konig Flow Formed wheels are manufactured using an advanced technology that applies pressure to the inner barrel of the wheel while spinning and after it has been cast. This process stretches and compresses the aluminum, increasing tensile strength and making the final product lighter, stronger, with increased tensile strength and elongation, and greater shock resistance compared to traditional cast wheels. Designs typically feature curved spokes for maximum brake caliper clearance and often include knurled bead seats to prevent tire slippage. Konig utilizes Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and advanced engineering simulation software to optimize wheel weight, increase strength and rigidity, and reinforce high-stress areas.
