The Ksport Kontrol Sport Coilover Kit provides enhanced performance and adjustability for your vehicle's suspension. These fully adjustable coilovers offer 36 levels of damping adjustment, allowing you to fine-tune the balance between handling and comfort by simultaneously adjusting compression and rebound. Compared to the Kontrol Pro kit, the Kontrol Sport features 30% stiffer damping and spring rates, with specific front spring rates of 16 and rear spring rates of 12. The system utilizes a Monotube design, which separates oil and gas for faster heat dissipation, finer damping adjustments, and more consistent ride quality compared to twin-tube designs. Components are constructed from lightweight, durable, and rust-resistant 6061 billet aluminum, while the steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc for corrosion resistance. Pillowball top mounts are incorporated into the front and rear on applicable models, aiding in proper vehicle installation and setup to OEM specifications. Ksport's patented upper pillowball mount provides adjustability and compliance, and on certain applications, offers integrated camber adjustment, potentially eliminating the need for a separate camber kit. Some advanced applications even offer separate camber and caster adjustment. Most applications feature an adjustable lower mount, allowing for height adjustment without sacrificing suspension travel, a common issue with other coilover systems. The valving of each shock or strut is precisely matched to the spring rate to ensure superior ride quality and reliability, with the entire system designed with professional road racing in mind.
