The Kontrol Sport features 30% stiffer damping and spring rates compared to the Kontrol Pro, delivering a more aggressive feel and quicker response times, making it ideal for aggressive street use and intermediate track applications. Constructed with performance and durability in mind, the coilover system utilizes 6061 billet aluminum for its mounts and most components, ensuring they are lightweight, strong, and resistant to corrosion. The steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc to withstand the elements. Ksport employs a Monotube design for its shock/strut valving, which separates oil and gas to dissipate heat more effectively than traditional twin-tube designs. This design also allows for finer damping adjustments and reduces aeration and cavitation, leading to more consistent ride quality and reliability. Most applications feature an adjustable lower mount for ride height adjustment without sacrificing suspension travel, a common issue with other coilover systems. Pillowball top mounts are included on some applications, allowing for OEM-like installation and setup. On applicable models, these pillowball mounts offer camber adjustment, eliminating the need for a separate camber kit. For advanced tuning, some applications offer an upper pillowball mount that allows for separate camber and caster adjustment. Ksport Kontrol Sport kits are built to order and typically require a 2-3 week production lead time. This specific kit is compatible with various Infiniti G35X, G37X, M35X, M45X, Q40X, and Q60 models from 2004 to 2015, all of which are AWD variants.
