This system offers 36 levels of adjustable damping, enabling precise tuning of both compression and rebound simultaneously for optimal performance and driver comfort. Most applications feature an inverted shock design for enhanced rigidity and reduced unsprung weight, contributing to improved handling and response. The steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc to provide superior resistance against rust and environmental elements. The coilovers utilize pillow ball top mounts, which help maintain OEM suspension geometry and deliver a more direct feel for superior driver feedback. Front pillow ball mounts include camber adjustment capabilities, allowing for precise alignment tuning directly from the coilover. Height adjustment is managed through an adjustable lower mount, ensuring that suspension travel is not compromised, a common issue with other coilover designs. Construction highlights include 6061 billet aluminum for many components, ensuring a lightweight yet durable and rust-resistant assembly. The monotube design separates oil and gas within the cylinder, dissipating heat more effectively, allowing for finer damping adjustments, and reducing the likelihood of aeration and cavitation for a superior ride quality compared to twin-tube designs. This specific system is designed for the 1999-2005 BMW 3 Series (E46) models, including the 323i, 323Ci, 325i, 325Ci, 328i, 328Ci, 330i, 330Ci, and the wagon variants, as well as the 2001-2005 BMW M3. The spring rates are set at 12 kg/mm for the front and 9.8 kg/mm for the rear. Front top mounts feature pillowball with camber adjustment, while rear top mounts include pillowball without camber adjustment. This product is noted as a true rear coilover application.
