The Ksport Version RR Road Race Coilovers are engineered specifically for the demands of road racing, providing aggressive spring rates and shock valving for optimal handling and performance on the track. Each set features 36 levels of damping adjustment, allowing for simultaneous compression and rebound tuning to precisely match your handling and comfort needs. The system integrates lightweight 6061 billet aluminum mounts and, on some applications, pillow ball upper mounts. These pillow ball mounts help maintain the vehicle manufacturer's suspension geometry and provide a more direct feel for the driver. For certain applications, camber adjustment is available directly through the pillow ball mount, eliminating the need for an additional camber kit. Most applications utilize an adjustable lower mount, which enables ride height adjustment without compromising suspension travel. The shock body is constructed from electroplated zinc-treated steel for rust resistance, while the mounts and other components are made from durable, lightweight, and rust-resistant 6061 billet aluminum. The valving is carefully matched to the installed springs for superior ride quality and reliability. Ksport employs a Monotube design, separating oil and gas within the cylinder. This design enhances heat dissipation, allows for finer damping adjustments, and is less prone to aeration and cavitation compared to twin-tube designs, resulting in a better overall ride experience.
