The Ksport Kontrol Pro Coilover Kit offers advanced suspension technology for both street and track use, specifically engineered for the Acura RSX DC5 (2002-2006). This system provides the ultimate in adjustability with 36 distinct levels of damping control, allowing users to precisely tune their vehicle's handling characteristics and ride comfort. The damping adjustments modify both compression and rebound rates simultaneously, ensuring effective and user-friendly setup modifications. Constructed with durability and performance in mind, the Kontrol Pro kit features components made from 6061 billet aluminum with T6 treatment for increased hardness and resistance to corrosion. The steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc to further protect against rust and environmental elements. The system employs a Monotube design, which enhances heat dissipation, allows for finer damping adjustments, and minimizes aeration and cavitation issues compared to twin-tube designs, resulting in more consistent ride quality and reliability. Key features include adjustable lower mounts that allow for ride height adjustment without sacrificing suspension travel, a common issue with other coilover systems. Pillowball top mounts are incorporated for improved steering feel and, on many applications, offer camber adjustment, eliminating the need for a separate camber kit. The kit comes with specific front spring rates of 8.7 kg/mm and rear spring rates of 9.5 kg/mm. It also includes a dust boot to protect the damper seal and is backed by a 12-month limited warranty.
