Constructed with durability and performance in mind, the collars and upper mounts are made from T6-hardened 6061 billet aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and resistance to rust. The steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc for enhanced corrosion protection. The system utilizes a Monotube design, which effectively dissipates heat, allows for finer damping adjustments, and minimizes aeration and cavitation for more consistent ride quality compared to twin-tube designs. Installation is facilitated by adjustable lower mounts, allowing for ride height customization without compromising suspension travel. Many applications include pillow ball top mounts, which can provide camber adjustment on applicable models, potentially eliminating the need for a separate camber kit.
