The Ksport Kontrol Pro Coilover Kit (CMZ300-KP) delivers professional-grade suspension performance for both street and track driving. This system features a 36-way adjustable damping system that independently controls compression and rebound, allowing for fine-tuning of handling response and ride comfort. Key features of the Kontrol Pro kit include a monotube design, which separates oil and gas chambers to dissipate heat more effectively than twin-tube designs, thus reducing aeration and cavitation for consistent performance. The adjustable lower mounts allow for ride height adjustment without compromising suspension travel, a common issue with other coilover systems. The kit includes front and rear pillowball upper mounts, which facilitate OEM-spec installation while offering enhanced adjustability. Camber adjustment capability is integrated into the front pillowball mounts, and the rear utilizes aluminum mounts. The primary construction material for mounts and major components is 6061 billet aluminum, ensuring a lightweight, durable, and corrosion-resistant build. Spring rates are set at 8.7 kg/mm (487 lbs/in) for the front and 6.3 kg/mm (353 lbs/in) for the rear. The front upper mounts are pillowball with camber adjustment, while the rear upper mounts are aluminum with no camber adjustment, requiring reuse of the OEM top mount. The system is gas-charged and does not include dust shields. This product is not subject to CARB regulations. This coilover system is specifically designed for the 2013-2016 Mazda CX-5 AWD and FWD models.
