The Ksport Version DR Coilover Kits are purpose-built for drag racing, aiming to reduce your E.T. and 60-foot times. These kits are based on the successful Version RR coilover but feature internal adjustments specifically for the rigors of drag racing. Ksport custom-valves each drag racing coilover and selects appropriate spring rates to maximize traction and manage weight transfer effectively during launches. To ensure optimal performance, Ksport designs each kit based on whether the vehicle is Front-Wheel Drive (FWD), Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD), or All-Wheel Drive (AWD). It is crucial to note that these coilovers are not intended for daily driving use. They offer 36 levels of damping adjustment, allowing you to fine-tune the suspension for specific track conditions. Many applications for McPherson strut suspensions include pillowball upper mounts, which enhance steering feel and response, and feature a patented bearing design to reduce noise during turns. All Version DR coilovers employ Monotube shocks. This design dissipates heat more effectively than twin-tube shocks, allows for finer damping adjustments, and is generally considered a more advanced and costly construction. Ksport backs these drag racing coilovers with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturer defects.
