The monotube design separates oil and gas, offering superior heat dissipation, finer damping control, and reduced aeration/cavitation compared to twin-tube designs, resulting in a smoother, more responsive ride. The system features pillow ball top mounts in the front, providing camber adjustability directly on the coilover for optimized alignment without needing separate kits. The rear utilizes OEM top mounts. Spring rates are rated at 9.8 kg/mm for the front and 6 kg/mm for the rear. Most applications allow for height adjustment via the lower mount, preserving suspension travel. Ksport notes that while some applications may achieve OEM height, the system generally allows for lowering up to 3 inches from stock, which can be relevant for rally sanctioning body rules regarding ride height.
