Kontrol Pro Coilover Kit w/ Pillow Ball Top Mounts

The Ksport Rally AR Spec coilover system is engineered specifically for the demands of asphalt rally competition. This kit boasts an extended stroke and heavy-duty internals to withstand rigorous use. It offers 36 levels of simultaneous compression and rebound adjustment, allowing drivers to fine-tune their vehicle's handling and comfort to precise needs. Featuring pillow ball top mounts on select applications, these coilovers help maintain the vehicle's original suspension geometry and provide enhanced driver feedback. Camber adjustability is built into the pillow ball top mounts for easy alignment correction. The majority of applications include an adjustable lower mount, enabling ride height adjustments without sacrificing suspension travel. Constructed with 6061 billet aluminum for many components, the kit is both lightweight and durable, offering excellent resistance to rust and the elements. The steel shock body is electroplated with zinc for added protection. Each set's valving is meticulously matched to its corresponding springs, ensuring optimal ride quality and reliability. The Monotube design separates oil and gas, leading to better heat dissipation, finer damping adjustments, and increased durability compared to twin-tube designs. This coilover kit is designed to fit the 1998-2002 Mazda 626. Spring rates are 9.8 kg/mm in the front and 7.2 kg/mm in the rear. Ksport notes that this system may allow vehicles to achieve OEM height levels, with the potential to lower up to 3 inches from OEM, which is a consideration for vehicles competing in rally events with ride height regulations.
