The Ksport Kontrol Pro coilover kit offers the ultimate in suspension technology for your BMW 5 series (1989-1995), suitable for both street and track use. With 36 levels of damping adjustment, you can precisely tune the suspension for optimal handling and comfort, as compression and rebound are altered simultaneously for effective setup changes. This kit features pillowball top mounts on some applications, allowing for installation to OEM specifications and offering camber adjustment without the need for a separate kit. On applicable models, advanced upper pillowball mounts provide separate camber and caster adjustment for ultimate fine-tuning. The use of adjustable lower mounts ensures ride height can be adjusted without sacrificing suspension travel, a common issue with other coilover systems. Components like mounts and collars are constructed from lightweight, durable, and rust-resistant 6061 billet aluminum with a T6 treatment for increased hardness. Ksport employs a monotube high-pressure design for superior ride quality and reliability. This design separates oil and gas within the cylinder, allowing for faster heat dissipation, finer damping adjustments, and reduced aeration and cavitation compared to twin-tube constructions. The steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc to resist corrosion and protect against the elements, while a dust boot safeguards the damper seal. The kit includes front spring rates of 12 kg/mm and rear spring rates of 7 kg/mm. The fitment is specifically for the BMW 5 series E34 1989-1995, including models 525i, 530i, 535i, and 540i with a 51mm OE front strut. A 12-month limited warranty is included.
