This system offers 36 distinct levels of damping adjustment, allowing you to precisely tune the compression and rebound for optimal handling and ride comfort. The simultaneous adjustment of these parameters makes setup changes more effective and user-friendly. Constructed with durability and performance in mind, the kit features pillowball top mounts on applicable models, which can facilitate installation to OEM specifications and may offer camber adjustment, potentially eliminating the need for a separate camber kit. For enhanced adjustability, advanced upper pillowball mounts are available on select applications for separate camber and caster adjustment. The majority of applications incorporate an adjustable lower mount, ensuring ride height can be modified without compromising suspension travel, a common issue with other coilover systems. Key components, including mounts and various pieces, are crafted from lightweight yet robust 6061 billet aluminum, offering excellent resistance to rust and corrosion. The steel shock bodies are electroplated with zinc for added protection. Utilizing a Monotube design, where oil and gas are separated within the cylinder, the Ksport Kontrol Pro system dissipates heat more efficiently than twin-tube designs. This design allows for finer damping adjustments and reduces the likelihood of aeration and cavitation, resulting in more consistent ride quality and reliability. The valving for each shock or strut is carefully matched to the spring rate to ensure superior performance. The front spring rates are 14 kg/mm, and the rear spring rates are 4.5 kg/mm. This kit is specifically designed for the Audi A5 Cabriolet Quattro from 2010-2015 (AWD models).
